Dear Member: 

This letter is to remind you that your membership in the Virginia Crime Analysis Network is about to expire.  The deadline to renew your membership for VCAN’s upcoming fiscal year is January 10, 2006.  Below, please see the membership levels and associated fees: 

·         VCAN & IACA Membership - $45
o        In addition to full membership in VCAN, this level will provide a group membership in the International Association of Crime Analysts (IACA) with a savings of $5 off the individual IACA member fee. 

·         Full Membership - $25
o        This level of membership is granted to professionals of law enforcement, and to individuals associated with criminal justice, criminology, police science or related fields.  Such members will have voting authority. 

·         Associate Membership - $15
o        This level of membership is granted to other professionals and/or persons (including students) who deal with or are involved in the criminal justice community.  Such members will not have voting authority. 

·         Agency Membership - $75
o        This level of membership is granted to agencies with four or more individuals from the same agency in the area of law enforcement, criminal justice, criminology, police science, or related fields.  Such members will only be allowed one vote from their agency. 

·         Corporate Membership - $250
o        This level of membership is granted to private concerns, such as vendors, etc.  Such members will not have voting authority. 

Please review the enclosed brochure for more information on the benefits of joining VCAN.  Please remember that dues for FY 2005 should be submitted by January 10, 2005!  Instructions regarding how to complete your membership are also included in the brochure.  Please make checks payable to VCAN.  At this time we cannot accept credit or debit payments.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
